OTS is pleased to announce the following additions and upgrade to the current Blackboard environment. Blackboard will be unavailable for this upgrade from midnight August 10 until noon August 15.
Blackboard Upgrade to Version 8
Version 8 will bring back a few old favorites, like the marking discussion posts as read and unread, as well as new features such as the Grading Center.
Blackboard Content Management System
The content system will allow faculty to centralize their course materials for easy updates and deployment to students and other faculty.
Blackboard Sync
Blackboard Sync will allow students to receive Facebook alerts from their Blackboard course site when new items are added.
