The Office of Technology Services will upgrade faculty/staff/student employee e-mail (Exchange services) during the week of March 17-21. Starting at 7 p.m. each evening, e-mail mailboxes will be moved from the current Exchange servers to new servers. On the weeknight when an individual’s mailbox is scheduled to be moved, that individual will not have access to e-mail for approximately 15 to 30 minutes while the mailbox is being moved.
Keeping the Exchange service up-to-date allows the Office of Technology Services to provide greater reliability, new features and improved performance for faculty/staff e-mail. After the upgrade, anyone using Outlook Web Access, Outlook 2007, or Windows Mobile 6 will notice new features.
