Administrative Leave for February 22 Snow Closing

Towson University was closed from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Friday, February 22. As a result of the closing, administrative leave was granted to regular staff, 12-month faculty, librarians and contingent staff for their normally scheduled work hours during this time period.

On their timesheets, regular staff, 12-month faculty and librarians should record leave code ADMU along with their normally scheduled hours for February 22. Contingent category II staff should record leave code ADMCU.

Contingent category I staff should record their normally scheduled hours as work time and, as appropriate, record ?admin leave for February 22? in the remarks section.

Employees who were scheduled off or otherwise not scheduled to work on February 22 are not granted administrative leave.

Non-exempt emergency essential personnel (typically including specific employees within Facilities Management and the TUPD) will be paid for hours worked in addition to receiving straight time administrative leave pay for their scheduled work hours.
