The university?s state-of-the-art notification system answers these questions and keeps you in the know about urgent situations on campus. When a situation occurs the system sends a text message to all registered users via their phone, pager, PDA or e-mail address. The timely communication lets you rest assured that you will know about the latest class cancellation or safety issue.
Students, faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to register for the alerts. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, and the process is clearly described at {http://www.towson.edu/adminfinance/facilities/police/campusemergency/}. You can also register in-person today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the University Union.
