Weather permitting, there will be a power outage in Old Smith Hall Friday, December 28 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. All electric in the old side of Smith Hall will be out during this time while important modifications to the main electrical switchgear are made. Special provisions will be made for the critical freezers and greenhouses, but power to all other equipment in Old Smith Hall will be out. New Smith Hall will not be affected.
Please be sure to prepare accordingly for this outage. If there is extreme cold or snow, we will postpone the outage.
