SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

Windows XP: Improve the Visibility of Your Mouse Pointer

Are you tired of seeing the standard white arrow mouse pointer? Would you like a bigger mouse for giving presentations or demos? Windows XP offers about 20 different mouse pointer schemes (and other mouse options) for you to choose from.

To Change the Mouse Pointer Scheme:

1. Click Start > Control Panel (The Control Panel displays).
2. In the Control Panel, double-click on Mouse.
3. In the Mouse Properties dialog box, select the Pointers tab.
4. On the Pointers tab, under Scheme, you can select from a variety of mouse pointer options, such as ?Windows Standard (extra large) (system scheme)?.
5. When ready, click OK to close the Mouse Properties dialog box and accept the new mouse setting.
6. Close the Control Panel window.
