Passport applications to be taken on campus October 25, 2007

If you?re planning to travel abroad, backpack through Europe or do spring break in Mexico, you will need a passport. The United States Postal Service (USPS) will have a table outside of PAWS from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 25, giving you the perfect opportunity to submit your passport application without visiting a post office.

Individuals who would like to receive a passport should bring the following:

* Two identical photographs of yourself that are two by two inches in size. It is advised that you do not attempt to take pictures yourself due to specifications.

* An official birth record showing a raised seal.

* A driver?s license or state identification card. Towson University One Card qualifies as a state identification.

* Naturalized Certificate if naturalized citizen.

* Fees: If you do not have passport photos, the USPS will take them for you at a cost of $15. The application fee for the state department is $67 and the USPS processing fee is $30. One cards and credit cards will not be accepted – cash, check or money order only.
