Beginning this fall any guest wishing to connect to TU?s wireless guest network will need sponsorship from a current TU student, faculty or staff member. Additionally, many of the campus reception and service desks will provide support to guests who need to obtain a guest user ID. The new wireless network name is tu-guest, and accounts can be easily created with a TU sponsor at the login prompt.
The connectivity changes to the guest portal will help to protect the university?s wireless resources. The portal is expected to be fully implemented by September 14, 2010.
