SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

Word 2007: Browse by Headings, Tables, Endnotes, Sections and more in Word 2007

You probably already know how to browse from page to page in a Word document. However, you can quickly browse through a Word document by any of the following: fields, endnotes, footnotes, edits, headings, comments, sections, graphics tables and of course by page.

1. Click the dot (Select Browse Object button) in the bottom right corner of the Word document (this is the dot between the double up and double down arrow below the vertical scroll bar).
2. From the menu that will appear, click what you want to browse by.
3. Click Double Up and Double Down arrow surrounding the dot to browse by the selected object.
