The portion of University Avenue extending from Burke Avenue to the lot 6 entryway will be closed in both directions until Friday, January 23 while a water line extension for the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) building is installed. During this time, access to lot 6 and the Dowell Health Center service road will only be available from westward University Avenue, via Towsontown Boulevard. Access to Glen Esk will be available from the York Road entrance only.
In addition, during this time lighting will be installed along University Avenue from West Hall to the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) loading dock. Intermittent lane closures along this portion of University Avenue will be necessary as the light poles are erected. These closures are not expected to have a significant impact on traffic flow in the area.
