Start off your semester by saving three lives – that’s exactly what one blood donation can do!
TU is hosting the first blood drive of the new year Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Chesapeake rooms on the third floor of the University Union. To schedule your life-saving donation, go to {www.towson.edu/hr} and select “American Red Cross Blood Registration” from the announcements box at the top right corner of the screen. Log in to the Red Cross Web site and it will bring up the TU Blood Drives.
Volunteers are needed to man the drive from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you would like to sign up for 1-2 hour shifts at the registration table and/or canteen, contact Gail Price in Human Resources at x4-6017 or {gprice@towson.edu} by 2 p.m. January 26. You could be Donor or Volunteer of the Day and win Towson University clothing!
Mark your calendars now for the 2010 spring blood drive, which will take place March 29, 30, and 31.
