The minimum wage will increase from $6.55 to $7.25 July 24, 2009. All current student employees who have an hourly rate less than $7.25 per hour will be automatically increased to $7.25 July 18, 2009, since that is the first day of the contingent pay period which includes July 24, 2009.
Student employees hired on or after July 18, 2009 must be paid a minimum of $7.25 per hour.
