Please join the Towson University Staff Council (TUSC) and Brian Ricketts from Campus Recreation Services for an introductory one-hour class on how to use the TU rock climbing wall at Burdick Hall. Attendees will learn what equipment is available to borrow and how to use it, rules and safety procedures, appropriate clothing, climbing terminology, balance, weight shifting, hand/foot placement and much more!
Attendees may be standing or sitting on the floor or an exercise ball for the instructional portion. Some or all attendees will have the chance to wear rock climbing gear and try the wall, so please dress appropriately in comfortable clothing and bring a pair of socks.
