Beginning on or about May 25, 2011, the current entry gate to the Glen Esk parking lot will become an exit-only lane to allow traffic to get to Southbound York Road during summer construction, which will close University Avenue. Faculty and staff wishing to enter the Glen Esk lot must do so by using the University Avenue access lane. Please note that this lane will be used for both entry and exit. Please use caution when entering or exiting the Glen Esk lot at University Ave.
Over the summer, as part of the overall campus site and safety project, the entryway to the Glen Esk lot on University Avenue will be widened to two lanes. When this is complete, vehicle access to and from the Glen Esk lot will only be allowed from University Avenue The current entry gate from Newell Avenue will no longer be used as an access point to the Glen Esk lot, and will only be accessible by TU emergency vehicles.
