Tiger Men’s Basketball To Hold 2nd Fun Run To Benefit Autism

The Tiger men’s basketball program will hold its second annual “Tiger Fun Run” on Thursday, Oct. 11.

The event will benefit the Kennedy Krieger Institute for Autism Research and the Center for Adults with Autism on Towson?s campus.

The Fun Run features a road run by the men’s basketball players and coaching staff around the Towson campus. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join the members of the team.

All interested participants are asked to make a minimum $10 donation prior to the beginning of the race with proceeds being given to the Kennedy Krieger Institute for Autism Research and the Center for Adults with Autism on Towson?s campus.

Donations can be made ahead of time as well as at the beginning of the run. The first 30 people to sign-up will receive commemorative t-shirts.

The event will take place at 2 p.m., and the race will start and finish at the Towson Center.

Members of the men’s basketball team, as well as the coaching staff, will be available afterwards for a meet-and-greet.
