Towson-Maine Showdown To Be Televised By CSN+

The Colonial Athletic Association football game between No. 14 Towson University and No. 7 Maine, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at 12:30 p.m. in Orono, Maine, will be televised back to the Mid-Atlantic area and will be available on Comcast SportsNet-Plus (CSN+).
Comcast SportsNet-Plus (CSN+) is available to 90 per cent of Comcast subscribers in the Maryland-Washington-Virginia area.
George Hale will provide the play-by-play and Walter Abbott will handle the color analysis.
Comcast SportsNet-Plus (CSN+) can be found on Channel 8 in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, Howard County and Anne Arundel County.
The Tigers, who are 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the CAA, enter Saturday?s game in second place in the CAA, one game behind Maine, the CAA leader. The Black Bears, who have won six games in a row, have a 7-1 record and own a 5-0 mark in the CAA.
Coach Rob Ambrose and the Tigers are the most improved team in NCAA Division I football. The Tigers, who were 1-10 last season, have improved their record by five games. The Tigers head to Orono with the top running game in the CAA. Towson is averaging 226.5 rushing yards per game and has scored 24 rushing touchdowns.
The Tigers have won their last two road games, beating No. 18 Old Dominion on Oct. 15 and No. 14 William and Mary on Oct. 22.
After Saturday, the Tigers have only two games remaining in the regular season. They host No. 9 New Hampshire on Nov. 12 and close out the season at Rhode Island on Nov. 19.
