Everybody knows what Molecular Biology is; everyone knows what Biochemistry is. Then, what is Bioinformatics?
For short, Bioinformatics is the field of study about molecular biology with the use of computer science.
This is the opportunity for anyone:
-Who has a special interest in Bioinformatics to meet and learn more about the subject from the highly involved faculty members of different departments as well as how Bioinformatics can be applied in Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry researches.
-Who is in the MB3 major to interact with other fellow students.
-Who hasn’t heard about the word “Bioinformatics” to recognize its significance in the continuously developing world of science and technology.
We will be meeting at Room 360 in Smith Hall, Wednesday, September 6th at 4:00 p.m.
