Call for Papers, USM Diversity Network Faculty Conference

Speaking Truth to Power: Rethinking/Relearning Diversity in a Post 9/11 World hosted by the Faculty Initiatives Committee of the USM Diversity Network will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at UMBC. Faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates (with faculty sponsors) from two- and four-year colleges and universities in Maryland are invited to submit proposals for papers, panels, workshops, training sessions, performance art or any other innovative format on all aspects of diversity in higher education.

Please submit an abstract (200-300 words) that clearly states the title, goals, content and educational implications by June 1, 2005 to: Dr. Fred Pincus, Program Committee Chair, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, UMBC, 100 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250.
