On Saturday, May 5, 2007, at approximately 4:00 a.m., a fire was deliberately set in an elevator of the Towson University Residence Tower dormitory. The dormitory houses approximately 500 students.
The fire has been ruled an Arson by the Maryland State Fire Marshal?s Office. Towson University Police are actively investigating the case and urging anyone with any information in reference to this arson to contact Metro Crime Stoppers.
