Do metropolitan areas such as Baltimore need to attract creative, talented, and diverse people ? the ?creative class? ? in order to survive economically? Through panel discussions, sessions and a special interactive workshop, this year?s theme, ?The Arts as (Multi)Cultural Ambassador: Empowering the Creative Community,? will explore the intersection of multiculturalism, the liberal arts, creativity and community.
Voices of Africa, an internationally acclaimed women?s a cappella and percussion ensemble will be performing at a reception following the conference?s closing remarks.
