Towson University?s First Environmental Conference

On Tuesday April 7 Towson University will host its first annual Environmental Conference. The conference will take place on the third floor of the University Union from 8:30 AM-2:30 PM. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come for all or part of the conference. The on-line registration form allows attendees to select which keynotes and breakout sessions they will attend.
Two keynote speakers will be featured, including:
? David Carroll, Director of Sustainability for Baltimore County
? Tom Horton, former environmental columnist for the Baltimore Sun and author of several books about the Chesapeake Bay
Breakout session topics include:
? Living Green in Baltimore
? Analyzing Energy Sources
? Environmental History
? Nature and Sustainability in Art and Design
? Campus Environmental Initiatives
? Green Jobs and the Economy
? Calculating and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint
? Environmental Activism
? ?Greening? Your Dorm Room or Apartment

The conference includes breakfast and an environmentally responsible and healthy lunch. The entire conference and meals are free of charge.
