Still time to nominate a student for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award

The Center for Student Diversity is accepting nominations for the 2012 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership award is presented to a Towson student who exemplifies the selfless and visionary leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. To qualify for this award, the student:

? Must be at least a sophomore in good non-academic standing with the University.
? Must be involved in efforts which contribute to the improvement of multicultural relations on campus and/or in the Baltimore community.
? Must have shown a willingness to stand-up for issues of multiculturalism or social justice issues despite the odds

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, January 6, 2012 and forms can be obtained from the Center for Student Diversity office or on our website {www.towson.edu/diversity}. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, and he or she will receive a $400 book award and a plaque.
