Looking for the extreme in outdoor adventure or want to lighten your load while backpacking? Did you know you can boil pine needles for tea? Did you know you can make a full proof survival kit for only twenty dollars? This Basic Survival Clinic will educate you on essential survival needs and skills covering navigation, first aid, water purification, and other survival essentials. Bring a friend as well! The Basic Survival Clinic is held the Second Monday of September, October, and November at 6pm in the Outdoor Trip Center (Burdick Hall Room 122). You can preregister in the Outdoor Trip Center, open Monday-Thursday 6-9 and Friday 12-3, or online by emailing the Clinic Supervisor at {merdma3@students.towson.edu}.
