Pro Musica Rara, Towson University?s professional performing ensemble in residence, presents an evening of music by Haydn, Beethoven, and Mozart. The work featured is Haydn?s Piano Trios in C Major and A-flat Major; Beethoven?s ?Pathetique? Sonata, op.13; and Mozart?s Sonata for Violin and Piano. These works will be performed on period instruments including a replica of Walther fortepiano, c. 1790. This concert features guest artists, Edmund Battersby, fortepiano; Cynthia Roberts, violin; and Allen Whear, cello.
