West Village Commons
Opening August 2011
? Interior furniture is being placed in the building; this task is approximately 90% complete.
? Landscaping is ongoing.
? Interior and exterior site furnishings and final touches are ongoing.
West Village Garage
Opening August 2011
? Precast garage components continue to be put into place; this work is approximately 90% complete.
? The installation of interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is ongoing.
? A traffic light will be installed at the intersection of Emerson Drive and Towsontown Boulevard later this year.
West Village Housing
Opening August 2011
? Hardscaping of steps and walkways is ongoing.
? The installation of the building?s mechanical systems is nearing completion.
? Inspection of the building is ongoing.
Towson Center Arena
Opening Summer 2013
? Groundbreaking is expected to occur around June 15, 2011.
Public Safety Building
Opening Fall 2012
? Building construction is expected to begin around September 1, 2011.
Campus Gateway
Completed Winter 2012
? Construction and operations of the gateway are underway.
? University Avenue is now closed for the summer.
? The temporary road to the north of the Union Garage is open.
College of Liberal Arts -Phase II
Opening August 2011
? Phase II construction is nearing completion; the building is occupied and inspection is ongoing.
? Utility work with the storm water and sanitary systems is expected to be completed this week.
? Installation of electrical, Telecommunications, and steam and chilled water systems are ongoing.
? The stairway between the Psychology Building and Hawkins Hall is closed for the summer.
