The Office of Public Safety will test the university’s external voice emergency system on Thursday, July 7, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m.. The test should last no more than a few minutes. At approximately 11:00 a.m., an initial announcement will come through the external system speakers followed by an alert tone/siren and a message indicating that the test is complete.
Members of the university community should be aware that this is only a test; no action is required unless a building internal fire alarm system is activated. You will need to evacuate if that occurs.
