Sabbatical Presentation: “Entrees Pour Les Princesses: From Page to Stage”

Jaye Knutson, Associate Professor of Dance, will describe the process of notating and reconstructing an early 19th century dance using Labanotation. The software used to notate “Entrees Pour Les Princesses,” methods for and the challenges of restaging the dance on students, and video presentation of the final dance performance will be presented in Burdick Hall Dance Studio 102 on Monday, May 17, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
