This Thursday come cheer your Tigers to victory against CAA rival, the James Madison Dukes at 7p.m. The Tigers are currently 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the CAA. Both teams have recorded a victory versus nationally ranked opponents (Tigers beat Maryland #25 at the time, Dukes beat Virginia #14th at the time) this season and both hope to improve their CAA record.
Last year the Tigers were dominant in a 61-51 victory against the Dukes with the help of their tenacious defense and efficient offense. This season senior Tiger point guard Shanae Baker-Brice is 30 points away from writing her name in the record books as the all time leading scorer in program history! So come support the Tigers as they hope to repeat their victory against the Dukes.
