The streets in the heart of Towson are closed this weekend for the Annual Towsontown Spring Festival and Tiger Athletics will be one of many vendors taking part in the weekend long festival.
The tent is located on Chesapeake Avenue near Wachovia Bank. You can park in any of the nearby parking garages for a small fee or find meter parking on the East side of York Road and walk over. The Fesitval is free to everyone and there are crafts from all over Maryland for sale along with food vendors and a couple beer gardens that feature live music. The festival runs from 10 am – 7 pm on Saturday and 1-7 pm on Sunday.
Football schedule t-shirts will be on sale and will be available through some give aways along with other items like a Tiger Tent package for a home football game, season tickets, bobbleheads, and football schedule pint glasses.
New head football coach Rob Ambrose will be on hand from 12:30 to 2:00 on saturday to meet and greet all Tiger fans and take questions about the upcoming season.
Get out into the community this weekend, support the local businesses and stop by the Tiger Athletics tent for a chance to win some great prizes. Of course at 7:30 Saturday, head over to Unitas Stadium to cheer the Tiger men’s lacrosse team on as they look to reclaim the CAA Championship and earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Make it a Towson weekend!
