The usual lunch time chatter in the Susquehanna wasn’t just centered around students catching up from the holiday weekend. People were talking Tiger football and leading the discussion was new football coach Rob Ambrose.
He surprised the core of campus several weeks ago by taking the first day of Spring Practice to Burdick Field. Today, he waited in the chow line like everyone else, pulled up a seat and talked Tiger football with anyone that was in ear shot.
SGA members, Doc’s Army faithful, members of the Band and even the current and future SGA Presidents pulled up a chair and launched into question after question from tailgating and win totals to play calling and spreading the word about game days.
He wouldn’t make any prognostications on how many wins the team would have or even blame…
