Poet Joe Capista and fiction writer Rob Roensch (bios below) who both teach in Towson University?s Department of English will be featured readers for the kick-off installment of the Towson Literary Reading Series for this spring semester on Wednesday, February 18th, at 4 p.m. in Lecture Hall 238.
Joe Capista is a native Pennsylvanian who has lived in Belgium, the Northwest, the Midwest, and Baltimore City. He is the recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council award for poetry and his poems are forthcoming in The Massachusetts Review, The North American Review and Quarterly West. Joe and his wife, Shannon, are being schooled in the delicate art of parenthood by their new baby girl, Moira.
A Massachusetts native, Rob Roensch received a Master?s of Fine Arts degree in fiction writing from Cornell University and has work out recently or forthcoming in the journals Avery, Lake Effect and Georgetown Review. He lives in Baltimore with his wife and daughter.
