The American Red Cross is pleased to announce that Towson University has been selected as the Great Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region 2012 ?College of the Year for the Chesapeake Region.? This was achieved by the generosity and commitment of TU?s faculty, staff and especially students. Young donors represent the future generation of blood donors and their participation is crucial to ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for many years to come.
Towson University is holding a blood drive today and tomorrow, September 18 and 19 at the University Union from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. We are offering a challenge to our faculty, staff, students and friends to break the record once again.
The goal for this drive is to increase donations by 10%, which is an additional 37 units of blood. Are you up to the challenge? Let?s break the 400 mark ? we can do it with your help!
