The Office of Public Safety will be conducting a test of the university’s External Voice Emergency System on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, commencing at approximately 10 a.m. The test should last no more than a few minutes. At 10 a.m., an initial announcement will come through the external system speakers followed by an alert tone/siren and a message indicating that the individual test is complete.
Members of the university community should be aware this is only a test; no action is required unless a building internal fire alarm system is activated — you will need to evacuate if that occurs.
