Act!Speak!Build! is a national campaign for Habitat for Humanity designed to raise awareness around the world.
Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 175, 000 houses, providing shelter for nearly 900,000 people worldwide. Now at work in 100 countries, we are building a house every 26 minutes. By 2005, Habitat houses will be sheltering 1 million people.
We are having an awareness meeting on April 7th at 6:30 on the third floor in the University Union. Come and meet some fellow Habitat for Humanity group members and learn more about what you can do to help end poverty housing.
