Are cameras in the courtroom a violation of constitutional rights?

The Towson University Chapter and the Maryland Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will host a forum to discuss the freedom of information implications associated with allowing video and still cameras in courtrooms on Tuesday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in Van Bokkelen 111. Panelists scheduled to appear include Baltimore County Circuit Judge Mike Finifter, Baltimore County Deputy State’s Attorney Ann Brobst, attorney Irwin Kramer, and WBAL reporter David Collins. John Rydell, a reporter with Fox-45, will moderate the discussion. Light refreshments will be provided.

The TU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in MC 203.
