New Occupy Wall Street Library Resource Guide

The Occupy Wall Street protest movement began in New York City?s Zuccotti Park in September of 2011. The movement has grown and spread throughout the country. On their website, they describe the movement as a non-violent fight, ?against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations over the democratic process, and the role of Wall Street in creating an economic collapse that has caused the greatest recession in generations.?

This library guide was created as an informational tool on the continuing movement. We decided to include mostly material that includes frequently updated aggregated media updates. While we would like to offer you the best information available, we cannot claim that some of these are not free of bias so please peruse the following information with a critical eye. If you feel an important resource may have been overlooked, please let us know and we will consider adding this to the list.
