A Musical Travelogue of the Philippines

Internationally acclaimed pianist Reynaldo Reyes collaborates with Alleluia Panis, artistic director of Kularts (San Francisco) in a performance of authentic music of the Philippines featuring the Magui Moro Master Artists, a colorful and exuberant kulintang music ensemble. The performance presents a visually-stunning travelogue of music and dance from three geographic regions of the Philippines representing Muslim, Christian, and aboriginal musical influences. (A free master class conducted by the Magui Masters will be held Friday, March 10, 12-1 pm in the Department of Music, Center for the Arts.)

$15 general, $12 seniors, $10 students and AA&CC members ; $5 for TU students with valid ID.
