Do you have a retired family member or friend who might be interested in taking classes at Towson??

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions would like to remind everyone of Towson U?s Golden ID program. For those who qualify, the Golden ID program allows students to attend Towson at a substantial savings over the normal in-state tuition rate.

The Golden ID program is open to Maryland residents aged 60 years or older, who do not work full-time and who currently earn at least 50 percent of their incomes from retirement benefits. Golden ID students can attend as degree or non-degree seeking students in graduate or undergraduate programs.

Instead of the standard tuition rate, Golden ID students pay a flat fee of $75.00 plus a $6.00 per credit technology fee. This can be applied to a maximum of 11 units during the fall or spring terms and up to 7 units during the summer term. In other words, a three credit course would only be $93.00!

Golden ID students also receive a discount on parking.

The January minimester term is not included in the Golden ID program. Also, some independent study, TLN, internships and self-supported classes may not be covered under the Golden ID program.
