TU students on the run…

…for the first annual Pigskin Pass relay.

On Friday, October 27, student-athletes from TU and the University of Delaware will run a 58-mile relay to raise funds for the Special Olympics. In this joint community service initiative, student-athletes from both schools will transport a commemorative game ball from Unitas Stadium to Delaware Stadium prior to kickoff at the annual Towson-Delaware football game.

The relay is intended to raise money for, and awareness of, Special Olympics Maryland and Special Olympics Delaware. Funds raised by each school will be donated to the Special Olympics of their respective state.

Help TU win bragging rights and beat Delaware for most funds raised! Members of the TU community are challenged to support their Tigers and the athletes of the Maryland Special Olympics by sponsoring TU runners in this friendly rivalry. Please visit {www.pigskinpass.com} to make a donation and view the current fundraising leader board.
