Dr. Lisa DiCaprio, Ph.D. will be presenting a discussion drawing on material from her book in progress. She will discuss the efforts of a group of women and children whose fathers and husbands were destroyed by the Bosnian Serbs at the Srebrenica massacre in July 1995. Dr. DiCaprio spent several months with survivors and with survivor groups. She will be examining both the roles of NATO and of Non-Governmental Organizations in allowing the massacre to take place. The discussion will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004 in the Potomac Lounge.
