Dr. Cindy Lee Van Dover, Ridge 2000 Distinguished Lecturer To Present Two Talks

Dr. Cindy Lee Van Dover of the College of William & Mary and author of “Deep-Ocean Journeys: Discovering Life at the Bottom of the Sea” and The Ecology of Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents” will be presenting two talks with a book signing before each talk.

Her first talk, suitable for a general audience, is ‘Beyond The Edge of the Sea: Volcanoes and Life in the Deep Ocean’. It will be on Monday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Hall, room 356. The Book Signing is at 7:00 p.m. in Smith Hall, room 340.

Her second talk – ‘Deep-sea Hot Springs: A Shrimp’s Eye View’ is on Tuesday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m. in Smith Hall, room 356. The Book Signing is at 3:00 p.m. in Smith Hall, room 340.
