Distinguished Black Marylanders Nomination Forms

Again, it is time to nominate outstanding individuals for the Distinguished Black Marylanders Award. The award is given to deserving African Americans in Maryland who have made significant contributions in their chosen fields and to the African American community. The awards program will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.

Please complete a nomination form and return it by Wednesday, September 15, 2004.

You may nominate people in as many categories as you wish. Do not feel limited by the categories listed, you may suggest worthy candidates in any field. Nominations received after the deadline and those not selected this year will be held for future consideration. Finalists will be chosen by a committee of Towson University faculty, administrators and students.

Also, consider the outstanding African American TU students you know and nominate one or more of them for the Distinguished Black TU Student Award.

Please complete the Student Nomination Form and return it by Wednesday, September 15, 2004.
