Did you know you can give to Towson University through the Maryland Charity Campaign? This way, you get credit for contributions to both Maryland Charity and the Towson University Faculty/Staff campaign. If you are giving on-line through www.mdcharity.org, you can make a general contribution by giving to the Towson University Foundation, Inc. – #3258. If you are interested in designating your gift to a specific Towson University Foundation account, please contact Cyndi Zimmerman czimmerman@towson.edu for a copy of the appropriate form.
As I stated at the start of the campaign, our goal is to double last year’s campus contributions of less than 200 faculty and staff. To date, we have received less than 150 pledges. With the holiday week in the middle of the campaign and the complicated instructions for giving, I believe this has slipped through the cracks for many.
Lots of prizes are still available and the grand prize to be awarded if we reach our goal is free parking for next year. I hope that alone is incentive for making a small contribution.
