Earn and Learn Summer Opportunities – Students may compete for two outstanding summer internship programs:

Governor’s Summer Internship Program – TU nominates up to five students to compete for one of 20 internships in the Governor’s or a cabinet-level office. Selected students earn a $2,500 stipend for the 10-week program. Students with a 3.0 or higher GPA may apply by submitting an application form, an official transcript, a current resume and two sealed letters of recommendation to The Career Center by Friday, March 4, 2005.

Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Fellows Program – This 8-week summer internship in one of the agencies under the Department of Transportation is followed by a part-time, paid internship during the fall or spring semester of the student’s senior year. Application includes a resume, an official transcript, two letters of recommendation, and an essay about a Maryland transportation issue. The stipend for the summer component of the program is $3,500. Application deadline is noon on Friday, March 25.
