Update on the Flu Vaccine On Campus
The Dowell Health Center would like to thank the campus community for all of your inquiries regarding the arrival of the flu vaccine this year. The Health Center has recently obtained a limited supply of the flu vaccine that we will be offering on a first come/first serve basis until the supply is gone. Faculty, staff and students can come to the Health Center between 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. and between 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on a walk in basis, or call the Health Center at 410-704-2466 to schedule an appointment.
Cost of the flu vaccine is $25.00. Payment can be made by check or cash. Students may bill their bursar account.
The flu vaccine is highly recommended for people in high risk groups such as the elderly, children under age 2, people with chronic disease (diabetes, asthma, heart failure, HIV/AIDS), students and anyone living in close living quarters, health care workers and anyone caring for any of the above risk groups.
