American Football: Understanding the Game

Friday, February 4, 2005
1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Burdick Gym I

Do you want to understand how football is played before watching the Super Bowl? Have you ever wanted to know the rules to American football but have been too embarrassed to ask? Join football enthusiasts and members of the Towson University football team for a presentation, demonstration, and hands-on workshop on American football. Learn about the rules of the game and the equipment the players use, and then lace up your sneakers for a short non-contact practice in Burdick Gym. Students who are skilled at John Madden Football for the PS2 are invited to help present, as a portion of the presentation will involve a video game demonstration. E-mail Barry Evans at {wbevans@towson.edu} for more information.

This is event is co-sponsored by the East Meets West Chatty Hour, Office of Diversity Resources, ISSO, ELC, and the Towson University football team.
