Symphonic Band dishes up ?Green Eggs and Ham?

Towson University?s Symphonic Band presents “Green Eggs and Marches,” Friday, November 18 at 8:15 p.m. in the Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall, Center for the Arts. Featured on this program is Dr. Seuss?s ?Green Eggs and Ham?- a new children?s piece by Robert Kapilow. This 20-minute work is performed by members from the Symphonic Band in collaboration with vocalists from Towson University?s Music for the Stage program. “Green Eggs and Ham” is charming, fast-moving, with just a touch of ?slam-bam zaniness.? Additionally the Symphonic Band performs marches from great composers including John Phillip Sousa and Henry Fillmore. The Symphonic Band is conducted by Dr. Dana Rothlisberger.

Tickets are $6 for general admission and $4 for students and senior citizens and are available at the Center for the Arts Box Office.
