On September 2 The Holmes Brothers bring their joyous blend of blues, funk and country to West Mount Vernon Park for WTMD?s free First Thursday Concert. The group’s career spans more than three decades and includes collaborations with artists as diverse as Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Joan Osborne and Ben Harper.
Baltimore’s own ellen cherry opens the show at 5:30 p.m. with her unique blend of acoustic pop.
