As part of Pennsylvania?s continuing efforts to provide alternative transportation options to Pennsylvania residents, Rabbittransit has expanded the RabbitExpress service and will now include stops in the Towson area. In support of this initiative, the Towson University transportation program will add a new stop on the County Garage route, that will link up to the RabbitExpress.
The TU shuttle will provide service to the 111 West Chesapeake Street stop Monday through Friday during the academic semesters. The shuttle will stop at this location in the morning at 7:44 a.m. and 8:14 a.m.. In the afternoon the TU Shuttle will stop at 111 West Chesapeake at 3:44 p.m., 4:44 p.m. and 5:14 p.m. TU community members may also transfer from the RabbitExpress to a TU shuttle at the Timonium Park & Ride located at Greenspring Drive and Deerco Road. This location is served by the Towson University Timonium/Cockeysville shuttle.
Members of the Towson University community may use the TU shuttles at no additional cost. However, a valid TU ID must be presented to the driver in order to ride the shuttle.
