TUSC Brown Bag: The Art of Valerie Smith

With Valerie Smith, Administrative assistant for the Department of Chemistry

Please join TUSC and Chemistry department staff member Valerie Smith for an exhibition of Valerie’s art work. When Valerie is not on the job keeping the chemistry department running smoothly she is at home in her studio expressing herself through her art. Using a variety of mediums: oils, watercolors, inks, Valerie fills her canvas with surrealistic interpretations. A graduate of the PICA Art school, Val has also studied at MICA and Towson. But, for the most part, she is self-taught. For this Brown Bag session, Valerie will be displaying her art and discussing her technique and inspirations.

Date: Wednesday, June 13
Time: Noon to 1 p.m.
Location: Conference room SM554, Smith Hall
